Welcome to the website of The Society of Anaesthetists of Hong Kong.

Over the past 50 years, SAHK has helped to bring the standard of anaesthesia professionalism in Hong Kong to a zenith.  The society has been relentlessly promoting training and education among professionals, and indoctrinating general public with the knowledge related to anaesthesia.  Moving forward, we will still aim to achieve professional excellence, establish professional status, strengthen relationships with fellow societies, and foster cooperation on academic accomplishment and clinical practices in the region, especially China and Taiwan.

We are excited to announce that SAHK is going to host the World Congress of Anaesthesiologists 2016. SAHK will also assist the organization of the Combined Scientific Meeting 2011 that is jointly held by the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (HKCA) and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).  Not only will these be great opportunities for SAHK to show the world our competence, we will also benefit from academic exchange with top tier professionals. However, we will need tremendous support from our members to make the events successful. 

From 2009 onwards, there will be challenges and opportunities ahead of us. SAHK needs elites like you to join and render generous help.  Join us as member today!
